Throttling

I've just installed a bandwidth throttler to keep people from running us over our limit. If you get blocked from the site, and can't figure out why, send me an email.

Oh btw, if you download a lot of stuff (for instance, webcam pictures) that's why you're blocked.

A simple thing like having the webcam offline is nothing to the people doing this. Jason's has been offline for the last couple of weeks, yet at least 3 people have been hammering our server with requests for the picture....

I've redirected all these requests to an image that says they were blocked, but they still do it...

When they hit the limit, the server will simply stop sending any data to them, and they'll have to wait for the next cycle to access the site...

Your web cam image is from like a month ago, why would people be viewing the web cam? I have been waiting for you to get that working too. Otherwise I enjoy your stories, and relate to lots of it since I was in Japan too, but never as long as you.
